Fly To The Rainbow was Scorpions' second studio album, released in 1974 and the first to feature guitarist Uli Jon Roth, who replaced the departed Michael Schenker. Alongside the early hard rock of "Speedy's Coming," the title piece saw the band reach for longer, psychedelically tinged writing. Singer Klaus Meine and rhythm guitarist Rudolf Schenker formed the constant core. The record laid the groundwork for the rawer direction the group would take in the years that followed.
