For Humanity: Hour I, Scorpions worked in Los Angeles with producers Desmond Child and James Michael on a concept album: a storyline by Child and futurist Liam Carl about a world falling apart in a war between humans and machines. The sixteenth studio album, originally released in 2007, is accordingly more tightly produced and darker than the arena material of the 1980s, carried by Hour I, The Game of Life and We Were Born to Fly. Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins sings on The Cross. This edition is a remastered 180 gram 2-LP on gold vinyl, in a gatefold sleeve.
