Children Of The Future was the Steve Miller Band's debut, originally released in 1968. Shortly after signing to Capitol Records the band travelled to Olympic Studios in London, where Glyn Johns handled the recording. Side one runs as a single psychedelic suite with the songs bleeding into one another, while side two falls back on the blues Miller grew up with, including Key To The Highway and Fanny Mae. Alongside Miller the line-up featured his childhood friend Boz Scaggs, bassist Lonnie Turner, keyboard player Jim Peterman, and drummer Tim Davis. The album reached number 134 on the Billboard 200. This edition is an LP.
