For decades this concert could only be heard on a promo LP that Warner Bros. sent to radio stations in 1979; Live on Tour '78 now releases the show in full and officially for the first time. The recording was made on 18 December 1978 at the Agora in Cleveland, during the tour around More Songs About Buildings and Food and the start of the collaboration with Brian Eno. Talking Heads sound tight and nervy here, just before the turn towards funk and Afrobeat that would follow in the years after. The set features early songs such as 'Psycho Killer' and 'The Big Country', alongside the Al Green cover 'Take Me to the River'. David Byrne and Ed Stasium mixed the tapes; Ted Jensen mastered at Sterling Sound. This edition is a 2-LP at 45 rpm, released for Record Store Day and limited worldwide to 14,900 copies.
