Views From A Red Train started life as an Edgar Froese solo project and ended up a Tangerine Dream album, with four other band members on it. It originally appeared in 2008 on Eastgate and is among the most rock-oriented albums in their catalogue: short pieces with firm guitar parts and tight rhythms alongside the familiar sequencers, from Carmel Calif and Leviathan to Fire On The Mountain and Sound Of A Shell.
