On 18 September 1971 The Who headlined Goodbye Summer, a benefit concert for famine relief in Bangladesh, at The Oval cricket ground in Kennington, in front of some 35,000 people. Who's Next had only just appeared, and the setlist shows it: 'Baba O'Riley' and 'Won't Get Fooled Again' sit next to a block from Tommy and the early singles. Glyn Johns captured the show on eight-track with the Pye mobile unit; Bob Pridden restored those tapes and mixed them afresh for this release, issued in August 2025 by UMe.
