Hypnotic Eye originally came out in 2014 and turned out to be the thirteenth and final studio album by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. The band aimed deliberately at the raw sound of their earliest records: short songs, few layers, guitars left rough. American Dream Plan B and Forgotten Man are about people on the losing end, and U Get Me High shows how hard the band could still play after almost forty years. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number 1, the only time they reached that position. This edition is an LP on black vinyl, with a download card.
