Little Earthquakes is the debut album by American singer and pianist Tori Amos, originally released in 1992 on East West Records. It came together after her earlier project, the rock band Y Kant Tori Read, had met with little success, and marked her move to a piano-driven, personal style. Songs such as "Silent All These Years" and "Crucify" were issued as singles and helped the album break through. "Me and a Gun" is an a cappella track in which Amos sings about a rape she had survived herself. Little Earthquakes was produced by Davitt Sigerson, Eric Rosse, and Ian Stanley among others, and established Tori Amos internationally as a singer-songwriter.
