Rattle and Hum was a U2 album originally released in 1988, accompanying the concert film of the same name. It reflected the band's fascination with American roots music, which grew during and after the Joshua Tree tour, and combined live recordings with new studio material, partly recorded at Sun Studio in Memphis. Desire reached number one in the United Kingdom, Angel of Harlem is a tribute to Billie Holiday, and When Love Comes to Town was recorded with B.B. King. Love Rescue Me came about in collaboration with Bob Dylan. Live covers such as All Along the Watchtower and Helter Skelter also feature on the album. Rattle and Hum reached number one in both the United Kingdom and the United States.
