Van Halen II is the second studio album by the American hard rock band Van Halen, released in 1979. The line-up consisted of guitarist Eddie Van Halen, drummer Alex Van Halen, singer David Lee Roth and bassist Michael Anthony. The album produced the hit single 'Dance the Night Away' and also features a version of 'You're No Good' and the acoustic guitar piece 'Spanish Fly'. It builds on the energetic, guitar-driven style of their debut.
