This release collects four alternate recordings from the 1968 Astral Weeks sessions: early takes of Beside You and Madame George, and longer versions of Ballerina and Slim Slow Slider. The material had appeared before as a bonus on the remastered reissue of the album and came out on a mini album of its own for Record Store Day 2019. It shows how the session players filled in the pieces before the final versions were chosen. This edition is a 10-inch, limited to 9,000 copies.
