On Somebody Tried to Sell Me a Bridge, Van Morrison returns to the blues he started out with. The album, released in early 2026 through Orangefield Records, combines covers and original material and was recorded at the historic Studio D in Sausalito, California, with guest contributions from blues greats Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal and Elvin Bishop. Its twenty songs, including the title track and Kidney Stew Blues, keep things raw and direct, played close to the band. This edition is a 2-LP on black vinyl.
