Into the Light is the third solo album by David Coverdale, singer of Whitesnake and former Deep Purple frontman. It originally dates from 2000 and was his first solo work in more than twenty years, after White Snake (1977) and Northwinds (1978). Coverdale chose a more restrained, blues-oriented style than the hard rock of Whitesnake, with River Song as his tribute to Jimi Hendrix and further tracks such as Love Is Blind and Don't You Cry. The single Slave reached the American Mainstream Rock chart. EMI released the album at the time. This edition is a 2-LP.
