Song to a Seagull, oorspronkelijk uitgebracht in 1968 op Reprise Records, is het debuutalbum van Joni Mitchell, geproduceerd door David Crosby. Het album is opgedeeld in twee thematische helften — 'I Came to the City' en 'Out of the City and Down to the Seaside' — rond de spanning tussen stad en kust. Met enkel stem, gitaar en piano legde Mitchell hier de kiem voor haar latere werk. Voor deze heruitgave herzag ze samen met Matt Lee de originele mix, die ze zelf 'atrocious' noemde.
