'Albatross' is the instrumental that took Fleetwood Mac to number one on the UK chart in January 1969. Peter Green wrote it as a slow, floating guitar figure over softly brushed drums — a long way from the raw Chicago blues the band had started with. The B-side is 'Jigsaw Puzzle Blues', a short instrumental by Danny Kirwan. The sleeve of this edition is a replica of the 1969 German single cover.
