Chaos And Disorder originally came out in July 1996 and was the last album of new material Prince made for Warner Bros. He added a note of his own: the music was 'originally intended 4 private use only'. It sounds that way too: raw and guitar-driven, short, without the polished production of his big eighties albums. 'Dinner With Delores' was the only single and became a modest hit in the United Kingdom. Beyond that Prince did no promotion; he was still deep in his fight with the label.
