On Time Lab, Yello's fifteenth studio album, Boris Blank builds the music from samples as always, this time also drawing on an archive of material he has gathered over nearly fifty years. Dieter Meier writes the lyrics and sings. Lead single "Around the Sun" is built around a Meier vocal take that was left off the sessions for 1981's Claro Que Si. On "Break Out", a bass riff and percussion reach back to the duo's early sound.

This edition is a 2-LP.
