A Divine Symmetry (An Alternative Journey Through Hunky Dory) traces the run-up to Hunky Dory: drawing on early demos, the 1971 BOWPROMO mixes and new alternative mixes by co-producer Ken Scott, it assembles a shadow version of that classic album, including the session outtake "Bombers". It appeared in 2023 as a standalone LP, drawn from the larger Divine Symmetry box that documents the twelve months leading up to Hunky Dory. Where the 1971 original presented the finished shape, this collection shows how those songs came together along the way.
