Aladdin Sane, originally released in 1973, was David Bowie's sixth studio album and the direct successor to Ziggy Stardust. Bowie wrote much of it during and after his first American tour and described it as "Ziggy goes to America". Mike Garson's avant-garde piano playing, especially on the title track, set a jagged tone alongside glam-rock singles such as "The Jean Genie" and "Drive-In Saturday". It became Bowie's first number one album in the United Kingdom.

This edition is a picture disc, released as a 50th-anniversary edition.
