Private Music is the tenth studio album by Deftones, released on 22 August 2025 through Reprise Records. The band recorded it in Malibu, Joshua Tree and Nashville with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who had earlier worked on Diamond Eyes and Koi No Yokan. It is the first album with Fred Sablan on bass. Chino Moreno alternates restrained singing with screams over Stephen Carpenter's downtuned guitars, with Frank Delgado's synths and samples underneath. My Mind Is a Mountain appeared in July 2025 as the first single, followed by Milk of the Madonna. The album reached the top 5 of the Billboard 200 and earned Deftones a Grammy nomination for Best Rock Album.
