Bloody Buccaneers originally came out in 1991 and brought Golden Earring back into the Dutch charts. The main reason was Going to the Run, a ballad with music by George Kooymans and lyrics by Barry Hay about a friend of Hay who died in a motorcycle crash. The song grew into one of the biggest successes in the band's history. Around it sit ten tracks of solid guitar rock from the settled line-up of Hay, Kooymans, Rinus Gerritsen and Cesar Zuiderwijk, with Temporary Madness and Pourin' My Heart Out Again among the other familiar titles. Shortly after this album the band took an acoustic turn with The Naked Truth. This edition is an LP on red vinyl.
