Moontan, originally from August 1973, is the album that broke Golden Earring internationally. The ninth studio album holds Radar Love, a hit in Britain and the United States that still turns up on rock radio today. Alongside it are long, drawn-out pieces such as Are You Receiving Me and Vanilla Queen, next to the more direct rocker Candy's Going Bad. Barry Hay, George Kooymans, Rinus Gerritsen and Cesar Zuiderwijk play here as a tightly drilled unit. This remastered and expanded release is a 2-LP, with rough mixes and basic tracks as bonus material.
