Dookie was the third studio album by the American punk band Green Day, originally released in 1994 on Reprise Records. The album was produced by Rob Cavallo and marked the band's breakthrough to a mainstream audience. Singles such as "Longview", "Basket Case" and "When I Come Around" reached high positions on the American charts. Dookie won a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album in 1995. The lineup consisted of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool. The album sold more than ten million copies worldwide and was certified diamond in the United States.
