Kamikaze originally appeared in 2018 without warning, six months after Revival, and is largely an answer to the criticism that album had drawn. Eminem raps faster and harder here, with 'The Ringer' and 'Fall' as the most direct settling of scores and 'Lucky You' with Joyner Lucas as the peak in tempo. It ends with 'Venom', written for the film of the same name. The sleeve reworks the cover of the Beastie Boys' Licensed to Ill from 1986.
