In the mid-1970s Johnny Cash made an album for children, recorded between January 1972 and October 1973 and originally issued in 1975 by Columbia. The songs deal with dinosaurs, magic glasses, and a faithful dog, sung in the same low baritone as his prison albums. I Got a Boy (And His Name Is John) is a teasing duet with June Carter Cash about their son John Carter. Tiger Whitehead surfaced again decades later, in an acoustic version on the posthumous Personal File. This edition is an LP, released for Record Store Day.
