Johnny Cash recorded this album, consisting entirely of self-written songs, in 1993, but it would take until 2024 for the songs to see the light of day. It was produced by his son John Carter Cash and Fergie Ferguson, with contributions from, among others, Vince Gill, Marty Stuart and Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys).
