ReLoad, originally released in November 1997, was built from material recorded during the same sessions as Load that did not fit on that album. The bluesy, hard-rock direction of its predecessor carries on, with The Memory Remains — featuring guest vocalist Marianne Faithfull on the refrain — and The Unforgiven II as the best-known tracks, alongside Fuel and the acoustic-opening closer Fixxxer. It was the last studio album with bassist Jason Newsted, and it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

This edition is the limited numbered deluxe box set with five LPs, a 7-inch single, fifteen CDs, four DVDs and a 128-page book.
