Tutu is an album by Miles Davis, originally released in 1986 via Warner Bros. Largely written and produced by bassist Marcus Miller, the album marked Davis' move towards a modern, electronic sound built on synthesizers and drum machines. The title track is named after Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and the album earned Davis a Grammy; the iconic black-and-white cover portrait was taken by photographer Irving Penn. This edition is an LP on black vinyl.
