Human Clay is Creed's second studio album and the album that took the Tallahassee band to a mass audience. It was originally released in 1999 on Wind-up Records and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. Mark Tremonti's heavy, measured guitar riffs meet Scott Stapp's baritone, a combination that helped shape the post-grunge of those years. Higher and What If come from this album, as does With Arms Wide Open, the band's only number 1 single, which won the Grammy for Best Rock Song in 2001.
This edition is a 2-LP on clay-coloured vinyl, the National Album Day edition.
