Brotherhood, originally from 1986, is New Order's fourth studio album and splits the band's two sides almost literally: the first half leans on guitars and drums, with 'Paradise', 'Weirdo' and 'Broken Promise', the second half on synthesisers and sequencers. That is where 'Bizarre Love Triangle' sits, one of the best-known songs in the group's catalogue and for years a fixture in American clubs. The album was recorded across several studios in England and Wales and appeared on Factory Records; the American version added 'State of the Nation' as an extra track. This edition is an LP.
