After Republic in 1993 New Order fell quiet for years; Get Ready was the return in 2001, and it is the most guitar-driven album in the band's catalogue. 'Crystal' opens with a long, building intro and became the best-known single, followed by '60 Miles an Hour' and 'Someone Like You'. Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins sings and plays on 'Turn My Way', Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream on 'Rock the Shack'. The electronics have not disappeared, but sit further back than on Technique or Republic. This edition is an LP.
