Paul McCartney wrote "Hope for the Future" as the end-credits song for Destiny, the Bungie video game released in 2014. This 12-inch places the original version alongside four reworkings: a Thrash version plus mixes by Mirwais, Beatsession and Jaded. It is the only McCartney release that came directly out of a collaboration with a games studio.
