Live on Two Legs was originally released in November 1998 via Epic as Pearl Jam's first regular live album. The album gathered sixteen recordings from the 1998 North American summer tour promoting Yield, with each track taken from a different concert. Deliberately, none of the tracks noted which show the recording came from. The selection drew from all five of the band's studio albums and also included a Neil Young cover. Live on Two Legs reached number 15 on the Billboard 200 and went platinum in the United States.
