The original CD came in a bright orange case covered in bumps, and the music is just as exuberant: unapologetic pop with "Go West", a Village People cover, plus "Can You Forgive Her?", "Liberation" and "Yesterday, When I Was Mad". Underneath the shine sit personal lyrics about desire and self-image, a year before Neil Tennant spoke openly about being gay in the magazine Attitude.
