Garbage's second studio album originally came out in May 1998, two years after their debut. In their Madison studio, Butch Vig, Duke Erikson and Steve Marker stacked samples, loops, strings and guitars into pop songs held together by Shirley Manson's voice. Version 2.0 entered the UK chart at number 1 and yielded 'Push It', 'I Think I'm Paranoid', 'Special' and 'When I Grow Up', among others. In 1999 it was nominated for the Grammys for Album of the Year and Best Rock Album.
This edition is a remastered 2-LP in a gatefold sleeve.
