Road to Ruin was the first Ramones album with Marky Ramone behind the kit. Tommy moved to the producer's chair, working there with Ed Stasium. The album originally came out in 1978 and stretches the formula: acoustic guitars turn up, "Questioningly" edges towards a ballad, and the songs run longer on average than on the first three albums. "I Wanna Be Sedated" went on to become the band's best-known song. Also here are "Don't Come Close" and a version of "Needles and Pins" by Jack Nitzsche and Sonny Bono. This edition is an LP.
