Perdida came out in February 2020 and was the second Stone Temple Pilots album with singer Jeff Gutt. The band went almost fully acoustic, using flute, alto saxophone, guitarrón, viola, cello and vintage keyboards alongside the acoustic guitars. Songs such as Fare Thee Well, Three Wishes and the title track deal with loss and farewell. Bassist Robert DeLeo on the approach: "Most of our songs start acoustically and we felt these would come across in the most genuine way if we kept them that way." This edition is an LP on black vinyl.
