SepulQuarta grew out of the pandemic, when Sepultura ran a weekly livestream of the same name (quarta is Portuguese for Wednesday). Fifteen songs from their own catalogue were re-recorded, each with a guest playing along from home: David Ellefson of Megadeth on Territory, Scott Ian of Anthrax on Cut-Throat, Devin Townsend on Mask, Matt Heafy of Trivium on Slave New World, Alex Skolnick of Testament on Vandals Nest and Phil Campbell on a version of Orgasmatron, among others. The album originally appeared in August 2021 through Nuclear Blast. This edition is a 2-LP in a gatefold sleeve, pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
