Naked is the eighth and final studio album by American band Talking Heads, originally released in 1988. The group around David Byrne recorded the album in Paris with producer Steve Lillywhite and a large cast of guest musicians, including guitarist Johnny Marr of The Smiths. The music leans heavily on African and Latin American rhythms, horns and funk. '(Nothing But) Flowers' and 'Blind' were released as singles; the former paints an ironic picture of a world reclaimed by nature. After this album the band effectively fell apart; the official break-up followed in 1991.
