Remain in Light is the fourth studio album by the American new wave band Talking Heads, originally released in 1980. It is the third and final record from their collaboration with producer Brian Eno and is regarded as their most groundbreaking work. The band builds the songs from layered, hypnotic rhythms with strong influences from African music and funk. The best-known track is 'Once in a Lifetime', with David Byrne's distinctive vocals. Remain in Light is widely seen as one of the most influential albums in new wave.
