It follows a character in a red suit wandering a night-time Las Vegas, with lyrics about addiction, regret and isolation. 'Blinding Lights' became a worldwide number one, with 'Heartless', 'In Your Eyes' and 'Save Your Tears' as the other singles. Musically the album leans on eighties synths, dream pop and dark R&B, produced by Max Martin, Metro Boomin and Oneohtrix Point Never among others.
