It centres on the repertoire he once started out with as a singing barman: the album opens with a medley of five Manke Nelis songs and also holds an Italian medley featuring "Volare" and "Buona Sera", plus "Twee bruine ogen" and "Leven op 't plein". Onder de mensen was originally released in 1995. This edition is an LP on transparent magenta vinyl.
