After the desert gloom of Humbug, Suck It and See sounds like a window being opened. The fourth Arctic Monkeys album, originally from June 2011 and produced by James Ford, leans on bright guitar melodies and sixties pop structures, with Alex Turner writing largely from a lovestruck perspective for the first time. Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair and Black Treacle became singles, Piledriver Waltz returned from Turner's soundtrack for the film Submarine, and Josh Homme can be heard on backing vocals on All My Own Stunts.
