Aretha is the box set Rhino originally released in 2021, the first to span her entire career, from the 1956 gospel recordings through the Columbia years and the Atlantic era to her late work for Arista. The full set holds 81 remastered recordings, nineteen of them previously unreleased: alternate versions, demos, work tapes and live recordings, with duets alongside Tom Jones, Smokey Robinson and Dionne Warwick and her performance of Nessun Dorma. The accompanying notes were written by Rochelle Riley and soul historian David Nathan.
