Headless Cross was originally released in 1989 as Black Sabbath's fourteenth studio album. It was the second album with singer Tony Martin and the first with drummer Cozy Powell, whose arrival gave the band a heavier, more powerful sound. Around Tony Iommi's riffs sit tracks such as the title track, 'Devil & Daughter' and 'When Death Calls', on which Brian May of Queen plays a guest solo.
