On 19 December 1974 Bryan Ferry played the Royal Albert Hall on his first solo tour, with Phil Manzanera and Paul Thompson of Roxy Music, guitarist John Porter and a thirty piece orchestra conducted by Martyn Ford. The setlist leans heavily on his first two solo albums, These Foolish Things and Another Time, Another Place, so it consists almost entirely of other people's songs: Sympathy for the Devil, A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall, The Tracks of My Tears and Smoke Gets in Your Eyes. The recording sat unreleased for more than four decades and only appeared in 2020 on BMG.
