Retrospective: Selected Recordings 1973-2023 sums up fifty years of Bryan Ferry's solo work, from his covers debut These Foolish Things to the recordings of The Bryan Ferry Orchestra. The selection runs past all the labels he passed through, Island, Polydor, Virgin/EG and BMG, and lines up the best known singles: A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall, Let's Stick Together, Slave to Love, Don't Stop the Dance, Kiss and Tell and Johnny and Mary. The compilation came out in 2024 and deliberately keeps to his solo work, separate from Roxy Music.

This edition is a 2-LP on clear vinyl with twenty tracks, half-speed mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
