Ghost Stories was Coldplay's sixth studio album and originally dates from 2014. It sounded restrained and electronic, and took shape largely after the separation of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow. Its themes were loss and acceptance. Magic and Midnight were released as singles. A Sky Full of Stars, made with Avicii, became one of its best-known tracks. Ghost Stories reached number one in many countries.
