AOI: Bionix originally appeared in December 2001 as the second part of the Art Official Intelligence series. Where Mosaic Thump carried a long guest list, Bionix is quieter and more personal, with songs about relationships, family life, and growing older in rap. Baby Phat, produced by Supa Dave West and featuring vocals from Devin the Dude and Yummy Bingham, was the only official single. A third part of the trilogy never arrived.
