Heroes Are Hard To Find, originally from 1974, is the last studio album with Bob Welch and the only one Fleetwood Mac recorded as a four-piece: Welch, Christine McVie, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood, with horns and keyboards added in the studio. The mood is smoother and more soulful than the blues of the early years, with the title track, 'Angel', 'Bermuda Triangle' and Christine McVie's 'Come A Little Closer'. It was also the first album by the band to reach the US Top 40. Shortly after the accompanying tour Welch left and Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks came in.
